Early Childhood Development in a Time of Pandemic: Peer Relations
Early Childhood Development in a Time of Pandemic: Peer Relations
Peer relations:
Children are missing their friends amid the self-isolating measures of COVID-19. Young ones may not even understand why they cannot visit with other children or attend playgroups. In this week’s episode, Isabelle Vinet and guest speaker Michel Boivin speak to how positive peer relations support the healthy development of children. Via these relationships, children learn how to become a good friend.
The Early Childhood Development in a Time of Pandemic webinar series has been created under the Early Childhood Development Science to Practice: Knowledge Mobilization Project. This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada's Social Development Partnerships Program (Children and Families). Project partners are Families Canada, Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Development, Lawson Foundation, Margaret and Wallace McCain Family Foundation, Red River College, Université Laval, Dr. Paul Roumeliotis, and Storypark Inc.
