Building Vaccine Confidence Webinar Series - How to Approach Conversations About Vaccination

Discussing vaccination with family, friends, and clients can be a challenging and daunting task. With funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada and in partnership with the Eastern Ontario Health Unit, Families Canada is working to increase the capacity of the family support sector to support vaccine confidence among groups facing marginalization through a series of webinars answering the most pressing vaccine-related questions. In this webinar the expert speakers will discuss:

-How experiences of trauma and interpersonal and structural violence can present during service interactions

-The four principles of a trauma-and violence-informed approach to service delivery

-How these principles can be applied in conversations about vaccinations or when approaching any challenging conversation
