This pamphlet can be used by individuals and groups who want to support children’s healthy development through play. This includes: 

  • Parents and caregivers. 
  • Service providers working with families.  

 

About the product: 

The “Why Play? with Your Baby (0-12 months)” pamphlet suggests science-based play activities. Parents and caregivers can use these activities to support their baby’s play, help their baby feel safe and learn trust, support their baby’s healthy brain development, help their baby discover their surroundings, and build a strong relationship with their baby. 

About the series: 

The Why Play? core series suggest play activities for children in the following age groups: babies (0 – 12 months), toddlers (12-30 months), and preschoolers (30-60 months). All partners are thankful for the valued contributions of family support practitioners who reviewed the series.

This is a physical product that will be shipped. 

Size:  

 Each pamphlet measures 6" x 6". 

 

We do not ship internationally at this time and will only accept orders within Canada.

Processing/Shipping Time 

Once payment is received, orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days** (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.  

Shipping time estimates are shown during checkout. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.  

**Due to COVID-19, orders are processed within 5 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. 

Shipping Rates 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking 

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). If you do not receive an email, please check your spam/junk filters or contact us for confirmation.  

Please review and ensure that you have entered the correct delivery address. Families Canada is not responsible for non-delivery due to errors in the address you provide. If you need any assistance with your order, please contact us immediately at communications@familiescanada.ca. We cannot make changes to your order after it has been shipped.  

All orders are shipped with tracking. 

Damages 

Families Canada is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. 

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
